Ramblings
Here's a missive I wrote about The World's Largest Prairie Dog.
In that vein, here's another award-winning travelogue about Carhenge.
When I was in college, I wrote a book.  In the style of the great mockumentaries, the book chronicled the rise and fall of the NGA, which was perhaps the greatest collection of video gaming talent ever assembled.  The original printing of the book churned out only six copies, and those originals are as cherished by the owners as an original Gutenberg bible.  (Well, maybe not.  I think Dinitz threw his out.)  Anyway, the definitive online version of this tome is being published by my friend and NGA charter member, Josh Berkowitz.  The Last of Their Springs.  You can read it here.
I play a little guitar and accordion in my spare time.  No, that's not a misprint: I really, honestly do play the guitar.  Here are some of my cruder musical stylings (clips added irregularly):
ACCORDION NATION
Julida Polka
Trad.; Arr. by Farney/Cohn
Accordion: R. Farney
Bass: M. Cohn
One of the very first web pages I ever made (early 1996) was an ode to the Southern Comfort Suck Bowl, a semi-regular clash between Crispin and me played out on the electronic fields of Madden '96.  The competition was fierce.  Crispin has faithfully preserved the source code (if not the pictures) from that fateful page here.
